White Sand

Our white play sand is fine, pure, and soft. That’s because it’s “washed sand” — surface mined, screened, and washed by machine to remove silt and clay, then allowed to drain. It’s finely graded and commercial standard, appropriate for sandboxes in schools, parks, day cares, and even homes. (Washed sand can also be used for fill, to top-dress golf course greens, and as a base for laying brick.)
Washed Riversand

Our Washed Riversand (Builders Sand) is a washed uniform gritty grey sand which has a 5mm aggregate. Washed Riversand is ideal for use as a concrete sand. It can help drainage in heavy soils. It is ideal for use for basic mortars, home-styled children's sand pits and as a paving stone subbase. Primarily used in bricklaying, sand can be used for other applications such as pointing, rendering, and bedding pond liners. Washed Riversand can also be mixed with Garden Soils to promote drainage and assist in the propagation of plants.
Fill Sand

Fill sand is a common material used in both residential and commercial construction projects. It is usually used to fill holes in the ground, or to change the elevation of property. Fill Dirt, or “Fill”, is great in that it supplies a sturdy base for any construction. Fill sand is great to use around water tanks, septic tanks, ponds, and other wet areas. It is also suitable for use as a base for concrete, paving, and paths as it compacts down solid. It is also useful for filling in trenches around pipes. It can contain weed/plant seeds or even plant life – this makes it unsuitable for mortars as it wont bind well to cement and considered unsuitable to use for children’s sandpits as it also sticks to skin and is very difficult to brush off.
